One of the major themes I saw this year at IMATS is glitter. Glitter body art, nails, skin, face, douse yourself with glitterati! Ok maybe not the last part but there were a lot of vendors showcasing the latest products at IMATS.
First up, Glimmer Body Art Glitter Tattoos. There are lots of designs to choose from and these advertise to last up to 7 days.
Naked Pigments was also present with an offering of $30USD for one stack or $50USD for 2 stacks. You can also buy I believe 7 stacks with a base for $160USD. These are pure Mica pigments and can be mixed with water/base/gloss to increase intensity as eyeshadow, blush, lipstick, or nail polish. I thought it was neat how versatile these pigments are for makeup artists and lovers. I really did wish we were able to pick and choose our own colors instead of buying from a set group in each stack. Other than that, these are great!
Wolfe Face Art & FX caught my attention right away with their gorgeous banners of airbrush makeup and the colorful products including you guessed it..glitter!
I love the butterfly drawn on the lady's face. There were a lot of attendees at the show that got glitter art done on the face. I really wanted to get drawn too but can't since pressing my face up the camera will ruin the design and my camera LCD. Ah well..next time!
Lise Watier had a small cute stand with the line's summer 2010 line.
Kryolan had one of the most unique booths with all the products inside glass casings with prices listed. Their products are insanely pigmented and a definite must for makeup artists.
Next up we have the ever popular Eve Pearl herself giving a seminar on make up. She does have the Emmy Award right up on stage with her.
Her line of cosmetics include lipsticks, blushes, eyeshadow, and concealer. I really like the way it was displayed at the show.
Couple more close up shots of the products.
The lip palettes are very pretty.
DEX from New York had these great magnetic palettes in 3 different sizes you can use for traveling. They're great because you can stick on eyeshadow, blushes, or highlighter all into one compartment. I thought it was a neat idea.
Here are the 2 smaller sizes in 3 different colors.
DEX also has a small line of cosmetics available at the show.
Urban Decay had a small booth to showcase the latest products to be launched this month. The popular palettes from UD are back so watch out for them in stores. They also gave out free products to attendees, I believe a free foundation and eyeshadow on Saturday. Sunday's freebies were lip liner and concealer pencil.
You didn't think I was going to do it did you. Yep..I had to get a picture of the ever popular NAKED palette which I believe just launched a couple of days ago. They are flying off the shelves rapidly so grab one if you're interested. This one will be right up the alley if you love neutral colors!
Here's another close up shot.
Ready for part III?
