A glimpse into naturalNchicmakeup

It has been a little over a year since the launch of naturalNchicmakeup.  I had honestly forgotten the blog's 1 year anniversary back in March.  I guess you can say this is true to the saying "time flies when you're having fun". I've had the pleasure of interacting with so many wonderful and knowledgeable ladies in the beauty community. Starting and maintaining a beauty blog is such an interesting and exciting journey.  I'm definitely thankful for all of your support in the past year and I look forward to many more years to come.

With that being said, I would like to share with you some exciting news.  About a month ago, I was invited by Recyclebank in partnership with Aveeno to become Aveeno's 2011 Ambassador.  It wasn't too tough of a decision for me because I am a huge supporter of natural/organic skincare. Both Recyclebank and Aveeno have great campaigns to help make the Earth a better place.  Aveeno uses natural ingredients to create their skincare products and offers free skin cancer screening in various communities.  Recyclebank motivates and provides guidance on how we can become greener through planting trees, recycling, and rewards systems.

In the next coming months, I will be introducing and reviewing new products from Aveeno. One thing I truly respect about Aveeno is the company's request for every ambassador to follow the FTC guidelines, and to be honest with the reviews.  So rest assure that while I will not bash a product, I will be completely honest with you on what worked and didn't work for me.
